Manassas Regional Airport (HEF) is conveniently situated just 30 miles west of Washington, D.C., in the heart of Northern Virginia.

The purpose of this course is to ensure that those individuals requiring non-movement area access at the Manassas Regional Airport are properly trained to operate on the airport safely and in accordance with the Airport’s Rules and Regulations.
The Manassas Regional Airport is a general aviation airport and a designated reliever airport for the Washington DC metro area. The airport is home to a variety of operations; flight schools, maintenance stations, charter companies, research and development firms, and full service fixed-based operators. General aviation airports, like Manassas, do not offer any scheduled airline service.
