Manassas, Va. - TERMINAL BUILDING DEVELOPMENT AND GROUND LEASE FOR THE PROVISION OF PASSENGER AIRLINE SERVICE AT THE WASHINGTON MANASSAS AIRPORT. Pursuant to §15.2-2101 and §15.2-2105 of the Code of Virginia, the City of Manassas is hereby notifying the public of its intent to lease public property in excess of five years. The City of Manassas is accepting proposals for the right to use, for a term of no more than (40) years, parcels at the Washington Manassas Airport consisting of ±22.29 acres of land and ±18,343 square feet of existing terminal building space located at 10600 Harry J. Parrish Blvd, on east side of the Airport.
Manassas, Va. — Today, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued a Part 139 Airport Operating Certificate to the Washington Manassas Airport (HEF), clearing the final federal milestone required before the airport can begin commercial passenger service which is expected to launch by the end of 2027.
